One more year slips past

Eleven years ago today I was experiencing labour pains for the very first time and thinking about the little person I would meet later that day who might look like me or maybe like her dad or a mix of both. Eleven years ago today I held the sweetest smelling bundle in my arms, she was pink, perfect and beautiful. Eleven years ago today I earned the most important title I have ever held...Mom.
