A sure sign of summer

I usually mark summer's official start with the end of soccer & school but this year things have changed. Last July we bought a trailer to go camping. We were already tent campers but I felt that with a trailer would could stretch the season a little bit more. After putting it in storage for the winter I was already looking ahead to this summer when we would be on the road again to more campgrounds. Today we picked up the trailer from storage, parked it out front and now comes the fun part...getting it ready for next weekend's camping trip.
The kids are quite excited and even thought the trailer needed a wash.

 I of course am thrilled that they are so excited...we have biking, hiking, swimming, scootering and sand castles to build...let's get this party started :)
